How to travel to Serbia and to Vrnjačka Banja? The closest airport is the airport “Nikola Tesla” in Belgrade.

Our advice is to change money to dinars at the airport so that you can pay your bus tickets. At the exit from the airport there are mini buses going each 20 minutes to the Belgrade city center (marked “Arrivals”) , and have to walk across the park. The ticket costs about 3 EUR and may be paid to the driver.

You must purchase the ticket at the counters (at the building marked “Departures)”. Tickets cost about 10 EUR, and the trip to Vrnjačka Banja lasts about 3 hours.

Exchange rates are 115-116 RSD (Serbian dinar) for 1 EUR and 82-84 RSD for 1 US$. Official exchange rates can be seen here (only middle exchange rates are given). Exchange rates at banks and exchange offices can vary by 1-2 RSD.

If You arrive to Belgrade by train, Bus station is near Railway station (see photo).

In Vrnjačka Banja go to hotel “Promenada” by taxi or by foot (approximately 1 km). Google Maps directions on how to get from Bus station to hotel “Promenada” by car/taxi:
